The Pushkin Museum-Reserve "Boldino" is located in Bolshoy Boldin, Nizhny Novgorod province. The original manor house where the poet lived has been preserved here. The wing and manor buildings have been restored, as well as a park with ancient ponds and trees.
The complex was recreated on the basis of archival documents and archaeological excavations. The stone Church of the Assumption has been restored. A memorial chapel of the Archangel Michael was erected on the site of the first Boldinsky temple of the 17th century. The children's Museum of Pushkin's fairy tales has been opened. There is a picturesque Luchinnik grove in the vicinity of Boldin.
The museum complex includes the estate of the poet A.A. Pushkin's eldest son in the village of Lvovka. The house, the alleys of the manor park, the parish school, and the wooden church of Alexander Nevsky have been preserved here. The museum of literary heroes of Belkin's Stories has been opened in the manor house.
