On February 21, in St. Petersburg, at the prize-giving ceremony of the All-Russian Travel Awards 2024, a fundraising will be organized for one of about a thousand wards of the Lighthouse Children’s Hospice
This is the 8th year such fundraising has been organized by the Tour Business with an Open Heart Charity Campaign. In total, since the beginning of 2017, almost 11 million rubles have been raised for terminally ill children.
“This is not the first time we have participated in such an assembly,” commented Gennady Shatalov, the organizer of a number of all-Russian travel awards, including the Russian Travel Awards. — A year ago, here in St. Petersburg, within the framework of a similar final, the fundraising was closed for 16-year-old Stepan Koshelyaevsky. And, by the way, the Tour Business with Open Heart Charity Campaign was awarded then in the special nomination: The Best social-oriented project. We collected money and in Nizhny Novgorod, at the finals of the Russian Event Awards in November 2023 — for 9-year-old Lisa Chaikina. We are ready to further support such projects to help sick children“.
“I am immensely grateful to the organizers of the All-Russian Tourism Awards and especially to Gennady Shatalov — without such amazing, responsive people who work in Russian tourism and develop it, we would not have been able to help the weakest and most defenseless — terminally ill children — for more than seven years,” said Konstantin Isaakov, initiator and coordinator of the Tour Business with an Open Heart charity event. — I believe that this time we will raise the necessary sum. Because if not us, then who else?".
