The traditional spring travel fair “Intourmarket” is always unique and presents new offers, participants and business program events keeping best traditional values.

That makes us stronger
The 2014 fair is as big as its previous edition. Our permanent exhibitors — national tourist offices, regional administrations, major tour operators keep their stands. New exhibitors arrived, foreign participation increased. Russian regions demonstrate increasing activity, applications for participation were arriving till the last moment. And in the long run the exhibition keeps same exhibition space — 29 000 square meters (all four halls of “Crocus Expo”, pavilion № 1).
A year ago after the “Intourmarket- 2013” we planned to do some space expansion. But recently the travel industry has been effected by external unfavorable factors like a decline in the ruble and certain foreign policy complications. Russian travel industry is very adaptable and able to mobilize its resources to withstand the difficulties. To miss just one professional fair is like a step back in competition. That which does not kill us makes us stronger. As a result exhibitors, organizers of the “Intourmarket- 2014” and our visitors are together again.
In the trend of regional branding
Russian participants demonstrate a dynamic promotion of tourist potential under a uniform brand. For example this year the Great Volga Agreement brought together 17 regions that will be exhibiting at a joint stand each one keeping their individual character. Last year there were only 8 participants on Volga stand.
Several Russian regions are developing concepts for exhibiting under the brands “The Golden Ring of Russia’, ‘The Great Ural’ and The Eastern Ring”.
The Arab Republic of Egypt, one of our most active participants, is a partner-country this year. The stand of Egypt is always the biggest and most informative. The exposition brings together Egyptian resorts, hotels, travel and transport companies making it very attractive for the fair’s visitors, professionals and tourists.
The “Intourmarket- 2014” participants include such Russian travel market key players as “TEZ TOUR”, “Coral Trave”, ATOR (Assosiation of Russian Tour Operators) and RUTI (Russian Union of Travel Industry), companies specializing in children tourism, excursion tours, relax- and SPA programs, educational tours and other.
The business program: traditions and novelties.
The 2014 business program is a record-breaking one in terms of novelties: conference on pilgrimage tourism, medical academy, social tourism, the Russia Friendly international hotel Forum. The Breeze Line, US companies and the Italian association of small cities will showcase their project for the first time at the Intourmarket.
We continue to hold our traditionally important professional events: a seminar of UNWTO and Federal Agency for tourism devoted to IT-technologies in the industry, a cruise summit, a Moscow tourist product presentation, presentations of foreign national tourist offices, a legal seminar and round-table on children tourism, reputable experts’ experimental seminars.

The fair works from Saturday till Tuesday for both professionals and tourists be able to see most interesting and dynamic performances on the stage in the hall and stands.
Working hours on 15, 16, and 17 March are from 10.00 till 18.00 and on 18 March from 10 till 16.00.
