This has become a good tradition — Altay krai has an honored status of the Strategic partner, presents a new 1000 sq.m. exposition of the region and organizes the Day of Altay krai on 20 March 2016 in Crocus Expo.
Main exhibitors: major and niche tour operators of the region, means of accommodation, manufacturers, craftsmen, representatives of the krai’s municipal entities. In total above 70 participants.
At the stand presentations of popular and new brand tourist routes of the following region’s tourism sectors: business, wellness, children, active, educational, rural, pilgrimage and other are organized.
Fair visitors will have an exclusive opportunity to get consultations from tour operators, to take part in prize draw (Altay honey, Altay tea, vouchers to health retreats and recreation centers), to try products of Altay manufacturers, to purchase creative handicraft of Altay craftsmen.
The grand opening of the Day of Altay krai is at 11.00 a.m. The program of the Day of Altai krai will feature presentation of investment projects and tourist and recreational clusters of Altay krai, presentation of wellness programs and SPA procedures offered by the resort and wellness complex of Altay krai.

Altaitourcenter management pointed out that the Moscow-based International Travel Fair Intourmarket provides tour operator with a good opportunity to succeed in doing professional job. Altay krai exhibitors praise the organizational aspect of the fair and consider their participation in the event as most effective.
Alexander Smirnov, Plot-Intravel tour operator company director, considers participation in exhibitions and fairs a most important instrument for product promotion. “It is not enough for a company to have a web-site and to disseminate newsletters with offers. It is necessary to present own product, to have meetings with partners with an opportunity for vis-à-vis talks to explain all nuances of sales, specific features of a route which establish more credibility.” Mr. Smirnov says that successful results of participation depend not only on organization of the fair but also on active individual work at the stand including post-fair processing of the collected data and contacts.
Ksenia Lobach, AltaySibTour acting director, also believes that exhibition activity is an important component of the tourist business: “We have already started receiving good feedback. As soon as we announced our participation in Intourmarket in the press we started getting calls and e-mail requests from Moscow agencies to make calculations for corporate events and adventure tours”.
Alexey Rtishev, representative of the Tsentrosoyuz health retreat, shares the opinion of his colleagues. In his opinion participation in the fair of the caliber is a very important component for building up an image of the federal health retreat Belokurikha: " After the fair our web-site traffic increases and we start getting more calls from Moscow and the European part of the country to the free hotline of the retreat; we closely follow this“.
The owner of the rural complex “Postoyaly dvor” Larisa Pastukhova who is a third-time exhibitor in Intorumarket notes that the fair tunes to new projects and ideas. New contacts are established, new practices are shared: “Every year we highlight different aspects of rural tourism. This year we decided to display diversity of our local nature, its fruits and richness. We have brought roots, tea and herbs. We have collected tea ‘Gifts of Sentelek’ especially for the fair to treat our guests,” Larisa Pastukhova says.
